Brigade I called to assist boaters hung up on rock

Tuesday July 13 three boaters on a relaxing lake ride got hung up on a rock in Niles Bay.  The LVFB was called to assist after unsuccessful attempts by a fishing boat to dislodge the stuck boat. Brigade I was able to lift the front of the boat to slide if part way off the rock and then pull it free. Boaters were not hurt but the boat keel had some damage, however they were able to boat home.
