Lake Vermilion Fire Brigade at the Antique and Classic Boat Show

The 2014 Antique and Classic Boat Show was held at The Landing on Lake Vermilion Sunday August 31st. The Lake Vermilion Fire Brigade (Brigade) was an Honorary Sponsor and held its annual fundraiser in conjunction with this event.  The organizers of this event presented a generous donation to the Brigade.

The weather was cool and windy, but this didn’t stop the many people from coming to the show and enjoying and admiring the beautiful boats!  The Brigade’s two boats:  Brigade I and Brigade III (airboat)  were also there for people to come aboard and take a close look.  Brigade volunteers were there answering the many questions and selling its merchandise.

One of the added highlights was Terry Hartikka’s drone taking photos and videos.  He put together a wonderful 11+ minute video of the event!  It is definitely worth taking a look at it.  About 4 minutes into it, you will see some good shots of the Brigade boats.  Click here to see it.
